The shopping centre has once again been given the Park Mark®, the accredited logo of the Safer Parking Scheme.
The 1355 space car park underwent a rigorous assessment conducted by the police and the British Parking Association. The process investigated; management and measurement of the facility, levels of surveillance, lighting, signage and cleanliness.
After successfully meeting the challenging criteria, the car park received the famous Pass Mark award. The Pass Mark tick signage will help direct motorists to the safe parking environment at the centre.
The Disabled Parking Accreditation (DPA) also carried out an assessment on the car parks accessible bays to decide whether they met the parking and mobility needs of all.
The DPA standards include; meeting the British minimum requirements for a disabled parking space, clear signage, lifts, ramps, lighting and alternative payment methods to allow disabled people additional time. The centre received DPA accreditation for their 58 bays.
