Tell us a little bit about what you do...
I’m one of the Personal Shoppers in Debenhams and I work alongside Marie Wilson, who some of you may already know. We offer a free personal shopping experience to all our customers to help make their trip as easy and enjoyable as possible!
Basically, you tell me what you are looking for, whether it’s an outfit for a special occasion, or maybe you’re just after a few new pieces to update your wardrobe, and I will help you find it. You can chill out with a tea or coffee and some magazines, then I’ll bring you back a selection of items using my knowledge and experience to incorporate your personal style and preference in brands with current and top trends. You can then try on the clothes in the privacy of the Personal Shop suite. You will have my full attention while you are here and able to ask any questions and my honest opinion, away from the hustle and bustle of the other shoppers.
What’s your top trend for 2019?
I’m loving the utility trend - I’ve got my eye on a khaki mini dress from Principles at the moment!
What’s your favourite brand in store?
There are lots of great brands in store to suit all ages and styles. Personally, I love Principles – The Collection is currently merging with this range, so it is just one big department now which is exciting and even better. I love Warehouse too - there’s always something I have to buy from there!
What is your number one fashion tip?
Wear what makes you feel good – just because something is on trend it doesn't mean you have to copy it. Put your own twist on it and make it your own. I hope that I can help you bring out your own individual style and absolutely style it out with confidence!
