Taco Bell

In Downey, California, retired Marine Glen Bell saw an opportunity to share his much-loved Mexican cuisine in a market that was crowded with Burgers and Hot Dogs.

Glen experimented and explored his favourite flavours, and came up with an offer that balanced Mexican products with Californian ingredients, opening the first ever Taco Bell in 1962, serving what his customers referred to as "tay-kohs".

Over the past 56 years Taco Bell has grown to be the world's largest Mexican-inspired food brand, with over 7,000 restaurants in the US and over 400 restaurants across other areas of the globe. Each and every day inspiration is taken from Glen and his decision to create something new and different, and his drive to share that with as many people as possible.

Taco Bell, will open the doors of its first restaurant in Doncaster at Frenchgate Shopping Centre at the end of November 2018.

Fans of Taco Bell will be able to dine in the 48-seat restaurant, or takeaway, and experience the classic menu enjoyed by people in stores up and down the country.

From burritos, tacos and quesadillas, to the famous Crunchwrap Supreme, there are plenty of delicious foods and alcoholic drinks on offer for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.
