Frenchgate Partnership Wins National Award for Tackling Antisocial Behaviour

Frenchgate Shopping Centre, working alongside Doncaster Council and South Yorkshire Police, has received national recognition for its work tackling antisocial behaviour in Doncaster city centre.

The partnership was recognised at the national ASB Awards organised by Resolve, which celebrate organisations across the UK working to make communities safer and more welcoming. The Doncaster partnership received the award for Best Partnership.

The recognition reflects a range of initiatives delivered in and around Frenchgate, including the success of the EPIC Doncaster Youth Hub, the opening of a police base within the centre, stronger engagement with retailers and businesses, and regular city centre patrols as part of the Safer City initiative.

At Frenchgate, the focus continues to be on working closely with partners to support young people, strengthen relationships with businesses and create a vibrant, welcoming and secure environment for everyone visiting the city centre.
