See an Authentic Victoria Cross on Display at Frenchgate.

Visitors to the centre have a unique opportunity to view a Victoria Cross made by Hancocks of London the jewellers who craft all VC’s, in the Victoria Cross Trust Shop, Frenchgate. To mark the 150th anniversary of the VC, Hancocks issued a limited-edition of 1352 VC’s all certified, individually numbered and cast and hand finished, in the same way as an issued VC and those seen recently on BBC’s Antiques Roadshow.

The VCT is dedicated to restoring and maintaining the graves and memorials of Victoria Cross (VC) recipients and other military personnel, whilst also educating visitors and school children in the stories behind the award. The VC is the highest award for valour and only 1358 have been awarded in 175 years. The sales from the shops goes directly towards restoration projects across Doncaster and also around the country.

Call in to the shop to view the VC  and browse their products and support their efforts to ensure that "their names are not forgotten”.
